PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Sodium dodecyl sulfate is an organic compound with the chemical formula C12H25SO4Na. It is a white or light yellow powder, easily soluble in water, and insensitive to alkali and hard water. It has the functions of cleaning, emulsification and excellent foaming power. It is an anionic surfactant that is slightly toxic to the human body, and its biodegradability is >90%.

Sodium dodecyl sulfate has good emulsification, foaming, water solubility, biodegradability, alkali resistance, hard water resistance, stability in aqueous solutions with a wide pH value, easy synthesis, low price, etc. It has been widely used in cosmetics, detergents, textiles, papermaking, lubrication, pharmaceuticals, building materials, chemicals, oil production and other industries. It can also be used in basic research on the properties of positive and negative ion surfactant complex systems, micelle catalysis, and molecular ordered assemblies.
