PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Trichloroisocyanuric acid, chemical formula C3Cl3N3O3, molecular weight 232.41, is an organic compound, white crystalline powder or granular solid, with a strong chlorine-irritating odor.

Trichloroisocyanuric acid is an extremely strong oxidizing and chlorinating agent, mixed with ammonium salt, ammonia, urea to generate explosive nitrogen trichloride, moisture and heat also release nitrogen trichloride, flammable when organic matter. Trichloroisocyanuric acid has almost no corrosion effect on stainless steel, and the corrosion of brass is stronger than that of carbon steel.

1.Sterilization

Trichloroisocyanuric acid is a kind of high-efficient disinfectant and bleaching agent, stable storage, easy and safe to use, widely used in food processing, drinking water disinfection, sericulture and rice seed disinfection, almost all the fungi, bacteria, virus spores have a killing effect, it is effective in killing hepatitis A and B viruses, and also has a good disinfection effect on sexual viruses and HIV, it is safe and convenient to use. Now it is used as disinfectant in industrial water, swimming pool water, cleaning agent, hospital, tableware, etc. It is used as sterilizer in sericulture and other cultures. 2. Application in printing and dyeing industry

Trichloroisocyanuric acid contains up to 90% active chlorine, used as bleaching agent in printing and dyeing industry, suitable for cotton, hemp, wool, synthetic fibers and blended fibers bleaching treatment. Not only does not hurt the fiber, and the performance is better than sodium hypochlorite and bleaching agent, but also can be used instead of imported sodium hypochlorite.

3. Application in food industry

It can be used for food disinfection instead of chloramine T. Its effective chlorine content is three times of chloramine T. It can also be used for decolorization of dextrin. And it can be used as decolorizing and deodorizing agent of dextrin.

4. Application in wool textile industry

It is used as wool shrinkage prevention agent in wool textile industry, instead of potassium bromate.

5. Application in rubber industry

Used as chlorination agent in rubber industry.

6.Used as oxidizing agent in industry

The oxidation-reduction electrode potential of trichloroisocyanuric acid is equivalent to that of hypochlorite, so it can be used as high quality oxidizing agent instead of hypochlorite.
